From first description to an agreed work date
A planned job follows one order. You describe what you want to replace or change, we visit your home for an estimate, and you receive a written quote. A work date is set only after you accept that quote and the equipment and materials are confirmed.
You can start before you have chosen equipment or fixtures. Pricing waits for the in-home assessment, so nothing is quoted from a description alone.
Estimate policy
The in-home estimate is free, with no obligation to proceed.
The sequence
Step 1: Your description
You tell us what you want to replace or change, any layout changes you have in mind and when you would like the work done. Timing is written in your own words, and equipment or fixtures do not need to be chosen yet.
Step 2: The in-home estimate
We confirm an appointment with you directly, then look over the existing plumbing at your home and talk through the changes you have proposed. The visit ends with a written quote.
Step 3: The written quote
The quote sets out the job before you agree to anything. Each line below is identified, so you can read what is included and who is providing it.

You take the quote at your own pace. The job is agreed when you accept it, and the estimate visit commits you to nothing before then.
Step 5: Equipment and materials confirmed
Before the work is scheduled, the equipment and materials the job needs are confirmed. A date set earlier would rest on items that are not yet settled, so the order matters.
Step 6: The agreed work date
Once the quote is accepted and the equipment and materials are confirmed, we agree a work date with you. Planned jobs run Monday to Thursday and on Friday mornings through early afternoon, within the hours listed above.

When the scope changes
A job can change once the work is under way, for example when you decide on a different fixture or a different layout. The written quote covers the plumbing scope you agreed, so a change to that scope is priced on its own.
Any change to the agreed plumbing scope receives a revised written price for your approval before the extra work starts.
