Water heaters, fixtures and bathroom plumbing, planned first

Copperfold Plumbing replaces tank and tankless water heaters, upgrades kitchen and bathroom fixtures, and handles the plumbing side of bathroom remodels. Each job begins with an in-home estimate and ends up as a written quote you can read before you decide.

Planned work

Choose the job, then the details

A water heater replacement, a new faucet or the plumbing behind a bathroom remodel each touch the existing pipework in different ways. We look at that pipework with you at home, talk through the change you have in mind, and put the scope in writing.

You do not need to have chosen equipment or fixtures first. An estimate can come before those decisions, so the quote reflects what you actually settle on.

The estimate

What the in-home estimate covers

The in-home estimate is free, and there is no obligation to proceed.

Existing plumbing
A review of what is already in place at your home.
Proposed changes
A discussion of what you want to replace, change or add.
Written quote
Set out in writing after the visit, for you to read before agreeing to anything.

What the written quote identifies

All replacement and remodel work is priced after the in-home assessment. Before you agree to a job, the quote lists:

Scope
The plumbing work to be done.
Equipment and fixtures
Who supplies each item.
Labor
The labor for the agreed scope.
Materials
The materials the work needs.
Tax
Any applicable tax.
What we plan

From the water heater to the basin

Water heater replacement is where most plans start, and the same approach carries through to the fixtures and rooms that draw from it.

  1. Water heaters

Tank and tankless replacements are planned jobs. The visit looks at your existing setup and the change you intend, and the equipment and price are settled in the written quote.

  2. Fixture upgrades

Kitchen and bathroom fixtures, from faucets and basins to shower trim, are chosen with the existing supply and drain connections in mind, so the quote can say what the swap involves.

  3. Bathroom remodel plumbing

For a remodel we take on the plumbing portion only: the water supply and drain connections for the layout you have agreed. The assessment sets that scope and who supplies each item.
